Meet the Speakers
Jay Ferruggia
Jay Ferruggia is a fitness industry OG who has been helping people get jacked and strong since 1994. As the founder of Renegade Strength & Conditioning, he started one of the original underground, warehouse style gyms, where he trained countless high school, college and pro athletes. During that time he originated small group training as it’s practiced today, and introduced the world to little-known training methods that have since become mainstream. He’s been featured in every fitness magazine there is, and wrote The Hardgainer column for 10 years in Men’s Fitness. In 2007 he released his first book with Penguin Publishing. He’s an advisor to WWE, MLB, and NFL athletes, as well as organizations like Sales Force, LiveStrong, Onnit, and Schwarzenegger. For the last ten years, he’s hosted The Renegade Strength Show where he discusses all things fitness related, with a good sprinkling of 90’s references. He’s an old school hip hop aficionado, unapologetic Jersey guy, and obsessed with saving all the shelter dogs.
